Best Bottle Sterilizer that Kills 99.9% of Household Germs

As a parent, you'll find that you're constantly horrified at all the dirty things your toddler will pick up off the ground and try to put in his or her mouth. While this is inevitable, you can at least ensure that during the first years, all the bottles, pacifiers, teethers, and toys that go into his mouth are clean by washing and sanitizing them regularly. Washing bottles, cups, and accessories with hot soapy water (or dishwashing) is sufficient to disinfect, but sterilizing takes that extra step that some parents swear by. Some parents do it for the peace of mind, while others parents have to use it because their child is immune compromised. Either way, getting the best bottle sterilizer can make it super easy and is worth the extra time and money to make sure that your baby's bottles and their accessories are 99.9% bacteria free.

In order to get safely sterilized bottles, there's two ways to go about it: you can use a sterilizer or boil them in hot water for five minutes. If you want to use a sterilizer, there are two types: microwave and those that you plug in. Both products use steam to effectively kill 99.9% of bacteria and household germs in minutes. We've done some research and picked the best sterilizers out there and reviewed them here below:

Let's Review

While a sterilizer is not a required baby gadget, there's no argument that it can definitely be beneficial. Consider how much time/effort (plug in = less effort) you want to put in versus how much counter space you have (plug in = takes up more space). Also keep in mind that electric sterilizers will have to be descaled regularly to stay on top of mineral build up. Using boiling water can be similarly effective, but takes  more time. No matter which bottle sterilizer you pick, your little one is sure to thank you for making sure that each pacifier, bottle nipple, and feeding bottle they put in their mouth is 99.9% germ free!
